Our Story ...

Art Below is a London based public art enterprise, founded in 2006 by brothers Ben and Simon Moore. With a wide range of international artists and its various campaigns in cities worldwide, the organization has an important position within the movement of contemporary art in public space.

Art Below uses billboard space to showcase art by leading and emerging artists in the London Underground and overseas. The group has nurtured an international community of artistic talent and has displayed the works of thousands of artists in London, Tokyo, Berlin and Los Angeles.

Our mission: To enrich the everyday life of the traveling public by giving fresh insight into the very latest in contemporary art whilst at the same time providing a platform for emerging and established talent.

We play host to a rich and diverse portfolio of talent including Banksy, Damien Hirst, Anish Kapoor, David Bailey, D*Face, Alison Jackson, Polly Morgan, Antony Micallef, Ben Eine and Gavin Turk.

Art Below run an ongoing artist membership program where benefits include being able to choose exactly what station artists would like to have their work displayed in. Underground exhibitions run hand in hand with gallery group shows. Previous exhibitions have been held at Saatchi Gallery, The V&A, Candid Arts Trust, Old Truman Brewery, Somerset House and London’s Groucho Club.
