His work is held in private collections in England and the USA. His work has been included in the the BEEP Painting Prize in 2012 and 2020 and upon his graduation from the Royal College of Art he was awarded the Susan Summers Studio Fellowship (USA).
Born in Manchester, Edwin Aitken studied Fine Art at Loughborough College of Art and Design BA (Hons) and Painting at the Royal College of Art MA (RCA). In 2018 he was elected to the fellowship of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA). He currently lives and works in East London.
