Artwork Guidelines

Welcome to our artwork guidelines page to better prepare you for knowing how to supply the artwork for display on the London underground.

Exhibition costs

There are two types of poster spaces available within most tube stations. These are:

Standard - 1 metre x 1.5 metres

Shared - 3 metres x 1.5 metres split into 3 panels

Your exhibitor fee covers the following:

  • Poster display at the chosen tube station for 2 weeks
  • Artwork collation, layout, repro & administration, copy approval, amendments
  • Printing and installation of your poster
  • High resolution photos of your poster at your chosen tube station emailed to you
  • A piece of your work on show as part of Art Below group exhibition at Old Brompton Gallery, London
  • You receive 70% commission on sales of your artwork at Old Brompton Gallery
  • You will have a guest list of up to 6 people for the private view at Old Brompton Gallery
  • Your own profile page on www.artbelow.org

If you would like to take part with Art Below

  • Up to 5 low-resolution jpegs of your proposed work for poster display
  • What space would you like: Standard or Shared?
  • What piece would you like to show at Old Brompton Gallery. Please include title, dimensions, medium, year and estimated sales price
  • A link to your website (if you have one)
  • Your town and country of residence

Email your artwork to submissions@artbelow.org

If your application is successful

  • You will be required to upload a high-resolution image of your artwork for poster display
  • You will be responsible for the delivery of your original artwork to the gallery and return delivery (if unsold)

Note: Costs are payable to Art Below, if your application is successful and you choose to go ahead.
