Art Below are proud to announce their continued support for MA Students at City & Guilds London Art School whose work will be featured at Kennington Tube for 2 weeks from the 8th September.
Billboards throughout the station that normally feature advertising will showcase work from the MA Fine Art Graduate Show, 10 – 14 September 2014, when the students will show their work in the Georgian surroundings of the school’s historic site on the edge of Cleaver Square just 2 minutes walk from Kennington Station.

A mass of breasts -closer inspection reveals some nipples are missing, sewn up as after a
mastectomy. Since the birth of their children, and her experience of hospital maternity units,
Charlotteβs creative output has reflected her sense of life postpartum.
Language, psychoanalysis, socio-political constructions of gender and identity are at the heart of Colbertβs practice.
Spanning film, photography, ceramics and sculpture, she questions narrative structures and storytelling, weaving surreal and fantastical mise en scene in a documentarian approach to characters, figures and people.

The Dotmaster, a UK arist, started painting on the streets of Brighton in the early β90s.
He takes a sideways look at a populist media with a
typically English sense of humour.
His work is impeccably detailed β his half-tone work, stark black and white street pieces and unique, photo-real colour stencils all create street-based illusions that fool the eye.

LUAP, multidisciplinary artist carries his adult-size Pink Bear suit and 20 kgs of professional equipment to the ends of the earth, having visited every continent except Antarctica, where the bear becomes the subject of unusual but breathtaking pieces. The photograph he brings home acts as a bouncing-board for the next step of his creative process. By employing different mediums and techniques he tackles issues related to the the ever-growing sense of eco-anxiety afflicting so many these days, particularly the youth. LUAP uses his art, hence, to draw in his audience and convey a message oscillating between angst and hope, achieved through a variety of methods and techniques.
