THE BASEMENT

Some of London’s leading street artists have been invited to paint onto the walls of the basement area of the Fulham Town Hall.

These Murals are planned to remain as a permanent feature of the hotel.

BEN EINE

Born in London, Ben Eine is one of the most successful street artists in the world and is regarded as a pioneer in the exploration of graffiti letterforms.

Originally a graffiti writer, Eine started his career over 30 years ago, leaving his first tag all over London before developing his distinct typographic style.

DOT MASTERS

The Dotmaster, a UK artist, started painting on the streets of Brighton in the early ’90s.

He takes a sideways look at a populist media with a typically English sense of humour.

His work is impeccably detailed – his half-tone work, stark black and white street pieces and unique, photo-real colour stencils all create street-based illusions that fool the eye.

PAUL INSECT

Paul Insect is a British street artist, most famous for his first solo show Bullion exhibition at London’s Lazarides Gallery, when Damien Hirst purchased the show days before it opened.

Along with eye-popping gallery exhibitions, Insect has established himself as one of street art’s seminal figures.

Insect has painted alongside Banksy at The Can Festival, produced album art for DJ Shadow.

His work can be spotted everywhere from the streets of London to LA or Stockholm to Sydney.

ANGRY DAN

Angry Dan is an artist, and writer from London.

He depicts his writing through illustration, animation, and song. Sometimes tragic, sometimes witty, sometimes beautiful, and more often with a hint of irony.

His ongoing Instagram project, Angry Dan’s Lunchtime Limerick, is intended to be an entry point for his long-form work.

LUAP

A skilled fine artist who dynamically fuses painting and photography, Paul Robinson aka LUAP, is fast gaining critical recognition and a celebrity following for his exciting work.

Working across various mediums his work hints at abstract expressionism infused with the explosive energy and bold colour of Pop and Urban Art. Exploring existential subjects within a contemporary feel his work stands alone in its composition and provoking content and subject matter.

His most iconic series depicts a pink teddy bear come-to-life and placed in the real world acting as a metaphor for discovery and exploration. The costumed figure – a striking motif in his work – exists between reality and make-believe, youthful innocence and corruption, leading a lifestyle that looks simultaneously enviable and questionable.
